As one of our colleagues so aptly put it, "Seeing is believing, but touching is even better." The printed documents, overhead transparencies, 35mm slides, and "multimedia" demonstrations in this book are all effective means of communication that we call Apple Desktop Media. The examples speak for themselves, as do the people who created them.

Formatted on a Macintosh / Ron Hipschman computer expert at the Exploratorium, the San Francisco based museum of science, art and human perception. Prepress on a Macintosh / Dennis Chesnel, a project manager at the Editorial and Manufacturing Technology Group at Time, Inc., investigates new ways in which the company can streamline the magazine production process. This sections show a film separations that was produced solely through the use of computer technology.
Prepared on a Macintosh / Tony Berumen is system administrator for the coporate communications division of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) which uses 100 slides per day and found that with the Macintosh they could guarantee 23-hour turnaround on requests for slides, includes a sheet of 9 slides that were produced with a Macintosh.
Produced and prepared on a Macintosh / Terry Hall produced a training program for Coast Guard helicopter mechanics which is included on a disk and Cliff Hughes of New York advertising agency Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor created an animated storyboard shows the early stages of a Quaker Oats commercial using Macintosh and HyperCard software and is included on a separate disk.
Demonstrated on a Macintosh / Hugh Dubberly, Doris Mitsch and Keith Yamashita created the compact disc pictured here which contains a wealth of information about Apple Desktop Media. This interactive demonstration is available right now at your authorized Apple dealer's (typo) and the CD is not here but it would seem they are saying that if you want to see the CD you must visit an Apple dealer.

Condition: spiral bound which very minor damage (one broken perforated hole) at the top of the spiral comb. Some scuffing and light pen mark on the cover, scuffing to the back cover, bumped corners, inside is clean with no damage or marks and appears to have all inserts.
